Traditional Chinese Household multi-functional electricity security device (Workshop Practice) — Circuit, Wiring & Debug Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese Household multi-functional electricity security device (Workshop Practice) — Circuit, Wiring & Debug Guide. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 6859 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
Household multifunctional electricity security deviceWith the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the majority of families are entering the ranks of modernization and electrical appliances. However, due to long-term use of some electrical appliances or poor quality, leakage occurs from time to time. Sometimes due to excessive power supply voltage, overload or short circuit, it is not uncommon to cause damage to electrical appliances or even cause fires. All these will bring serious harm and losses to people's lives. To this end, a household multifunctional electrical security device suitable for the neutral point grounding system on the low-voltage side of the transformer is introduced. It has protection functions such as electric shock, leakage, overvoltage, overload and short circuit. Under the conditions of rated voltage 220V, rated current 10A, and rated frequency 50Hz, it has the characteristics of simple structure, wide voltage range, low cost, small size and low power consumption.1. How the circuit worksThe circuit of a household multifunctional electric security device is shown in Figure 68-1. It is composed of a leakage detection circuit, an overload and short circuit detection circuit, an overvoltage detection circuit and a switching circuit. In the figure, current transformers HT and L4 form a leakage signal detection circuit; reed switch JAG and coil L5 form an overload and short-circuit signal detection circuit; varistor R2 and current transformer HT form an overvoltage signal detection circuit; unidirectional silicon controlled thyristor SCR, rectifier diodes D1 to D4 and capacitors C1 and C2 form a rectifier and filter switching circuit. In the rectifier circuit, the capacitor C1 and the current transformer secondary coil L4 form a 50Hz resonant circuit. The purpose is to improve the anti-interference ability of the circuit and obtain the maximum signal, ensuring that the security device works reliably and avoids malfunctions. …
