Traditional Chinese Practical Automatic Dimming, Speed: Circuit Design, Parts List & Workshop Prototype Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese Practical Automatic Dimming, Speed. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 7760 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
Automatic dimming, speed adjustment and temperature adjustment multi-purpose deviceAt present, even if the electrical appliances for dimming, speed and temperature adjustment adopt contactless (i.e. stepless) adjustment methods, most of them are still manually operated, which is troublesome. The automatic dimming, speed adjustment and temperature adjustment multi-purpose device introduced in this article can use touch, induction, infrared remote control or light control methods to achieve automatic dimming, speed adjustment or temperature adjustment. When using the above method, as long as the signal is continuously sent out intermittently, the multiplexer can achieve changes from low speed to high speed, dark to bright, and low temperature to high temperature. Now the automatic dimming, speed adjustment and temperature adjustment multi-purpose devices are introduced as follows for readers to choose and develop.1. Circuit working principleThe circuit of the automatic light-adjusting, speed-adjusting and temperature-adjusting multi-purpose device is shown in Figure 50-1. Its core components are the light control integrated circuit and the decimal counting integrated circuit. Figure 50-1Now the dimming circuit is used to illustrate the working principle of the circuit. The characteristic of the voice-activated integrated circuit IC1 is that when the input terminal ① of IC1 sends a trigger control signal, the output terminal ⑨ of IC1 outputs a high level, which is the trigger count signal of IC2; if another trigger control signal is input to IC1, the output of IC1 will change from high level to low level. In this way, no matter which way the input signal of the multiplexer is used, as long as each trigger signal is sent, it is equivalent to inputting a counting pulse signal to the input terminal CP of IC2, and the brightness of the bulb ZD will change by one gear accordingly. When the trigger signal causes the output terminal of IC2 to be at a high level of Q0, since the output terminal is not connected to the trigger circuit of IC2, it becomes the power off position and the bulb ZD does not light up. At this time, if the trigger signal is continuously input to the multiplexer, the bulb ZD will light up or dim in sequence according to the output sequence of Q1 to Q9.The picture is a touch switch. When you touch the metal piece M with your hand, the output pin 9 of I1C sends a high level to the CP end of IC2, so that the brightness of the bulb ZD changes to one gear. When you touch the metal piece M again, the output pin 9 of IC1 changes from high level to low level, and the brightness of the bulb remains unchanged. If you touch M again, the brightness of the bulb changes to another gear. The principle of the counting integrated circuit IC2 is: when the trigger signal is sent to the CP terminal, its output terminals Q0~Q9 will output high levels in sequence, and the high level will be reduced by the voltage-reducing resistor and current-limited, and then sent to the input terminal of the optocoupler PC. The control signal at the output end of the optocoupler changes with the change in the signal at the input end. The output control signal is added to the control electrode of the bidirectional thyristor SCR, which changes the conduction angle of the thyristor SCR, thereby changing the operating voltage applied to the load bulb and achieving automatic dimming.Properly adjusting the resistance of R5~R13 can change the strength of the trigger signal and thus change the conduction angle of the triac SCR, so that the voltage applied to both ends of the bulb ZD changes accordingly, and the brightness of the bulb changes accordingly. When using the infrared transmitter remote control circuit shown in Figure 50-2, the IC1 part in Figure 50-1 can be removed. When infrared light shines on the infrared receiving diode LED, the infrared signal received by the LED turns on the transistor BG, and the emitter of BG outputs a trigger voltage and sends it to the CP terminal of IC2, so that the output terminal of IC2 sends a trigger pulse to the photocoupler PC; when no infrared light shines on the LED, the BG tube is turned off, and its emitter has no signal voltage output. In this way, every time the infrared emitter irradiates the LED once, it is equivalent to sending a counting pulse signal to the input terminal CP of IC2, so that the brightness of the bulb changes by one gear. Figure 50-2The control circuit can also use a flashlight to illuminate the photodiode, phototransistor or photoresistor, but it is only suitable for night time. Inductive proximity control circuits or wireless transmitting remote control circuits can also be used.2. Component selection and productionIC1 is a voice-activated integrated circuit, and the SK-I type voice-activated integrated circuit produced by Beijing Semiconductor Device Factory No. 3 can be used.IC2 is a decimal counting and ten-segment decoding integrated circuit. You can choose the C4017 decimal counting and ten-segment decoding integrated circuit produced by Beijing Qianmen Device Factory. You can also choose the C187 type or the imported CD4017 type.PC is an optocoupler, which can be 4N25 or PP04.Infrared emitting tubes LED1~LED3 are medium-power gallium arsenide infrared light-emitting tubes, which are of type HG506, and their luminous power is 70~100mW.Infrared receiving diode LED, choose PH302 type or any other model.Power transformer B is a 12V step-down transformer, and the capacitor step-down method can also be used to obtain the required operating voltage.D1~D15 are semiconductor diodes, choose 2CP12 or IN4001.DW is a zener diode, choose 2CW21 type. …
