Traditional Chinese Transistor hypnotic device: Circuit Design, Parts List & Workshop Prototype Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese Transistor hypnotic device. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 2459 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
transistor hypnotic deviceThis transistor hypnosis device is small in size, safe to use, and can automatically cut off the power supply after falling asleep. The circuit is shown in Figure 93-1. An asymmetric square wave generator is composed of transistors VT1 and VT2 to produce hypnotic electric pulses. The pulse width is about 0.1s and the repetition frequency is 3s. When C1 is charging, VT1 is in saturation state. When C1 is charged to the peak point voltage of VT2, C1 will discharge through the eb1 junction of the single-junction transistor VT2 and R2, causing VT1 to cut off. A narrower positive pulse is obtained between the VT1 emitters. Changing R2 can control the pulse width, and changing R3 can control the pulse period. alt="140.jpg (41098 bytes)">Figure 93-1The delayer is composed of transistors VT3, VT4 and VT5, and the delayed turn-off time is 15 minutes. When SB is not pressed, VT4 and VT5 are in a cut-off state, and C2 is charged through the GS junction of R8 and field effect transistor VT3. After pressing SB, VT4 and VT5 are turned on, C2 makes the VT3 gate have a negative potential, and VT3 is cut off. VT4 and VT6 are locked in the conductive state through VD and R5. That is to say, even if SB is released, it remains conductive. The square wave generator gets power to work. As time goes by, C2 is discharged through the ce junction of R6 and VT4. When the negative potential of C2 is less than the pinch-off voltage VP of VT3, VT3 is turned on, VT4 and VT5 are turned off again, and the power supply of the square wave generator is cut off and stops working. Changing the value of R6 can control the delayed turn-off time. …
