Traditional Chinese KPM-01 low-frequency therapeutic instrument (Workshop Practice) — Circuit, Wiring & Debug Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese KPM-01 low-frequency therapeutic instrument (Workshop Practice) — Circuit, Wiring & Debug Guide. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 7481 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
KPM-01 low frequency therapy instrumentThe KPM-01 low-frequency therapeutic instrument is a portable therapeutic instrument suitable for home health care treatment. The treatment principle of this therapeutic device is to simulate "acupuncture therapy", which has certain effects on treating frozen shoulder, low back pain, muscle sprain, relieving pain, promoting blood circulation, etc.The KPM-01 low-frequency therapeutic instrument adopts a pocket-sized and portable structure and uses four 1.5V batteries for power supply. The casing is equipped with a power switch, an output pulse frequency adjustment knob (adjustment range: 2 ~ 13Hz), an amplitude adjustment knob (the maximum pulse amplitude is about 100V) and an output connecting wire. Circular electrodes are welded to the ends of the two wires respectively. When in use, the two electrodes should be symmetrically pasted on the skin on both sides of the affected part of the human body with self-adhesive tape. In addition, the therapy device also has the function of delaying the output of electrical pulses after starting up and automatically shutting down after 30 minutes.Figure 29 is the electrical schematic diagram of the KPM-01 low-frequency therapy instrument. The therapeutic instrument uses three CMOS integrated circuits as the main body to form a low-frequency treatment pulse generation and output circuit, a power-on delay output circuit and a 30-minute timed automatic shutdown circuit. The low-frequency treatment pulse generation and output circuit is composed of NOT gates 4 and 5 in IC1: CD4081 (four-two input AND gate integrated circuit), IC2: CD4069 (six NOT gate integrated circuit), VT3, VT4, RP1, RP2, VD1, VD2, VD4~VD6, inductor coil L, etc. Among them, the NOT gates 4 and 5 of IC2 and R8, R9, RP2, and C3 form a self-excited oscillator. The pulse wave group output by the self-excited oscillator is the low-frequency treatment pulse source. By adjusting RP2, the treatment pulse frequency can be adjusted within the range of 2 to 13 Hz. By adjusting RP1, the voltage amplitude of the treatment pulse can be adjusted. The pulse wave output from the self-excited oscillator (IC2 pin 8) passes through the RC circuit composed of RP1, R1, and C4, and is sent to AND gates 1 and 4 for shaping and amplification respectively. Since the circuit parameter τ=(RP1+R1)C4 is much larger than the treatment pulse width output by the self-oscillator, the circuit is an RC differential circuit, and the width of the differential pulse can be changed by adjusting RP1. …
