Electronic Dimming Timer Wake-up Desk Lamp: Traditional Chinese Circui
In short: Traditional Chinese Electronic dimming timer wake-up desk lamp: Circuit Design, Parts List & Workshop Prototype Guide. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 6020 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
Electronic dimming timer wake-up desk lampThe electronic dimming timer wake-up table lamp can not only make ordinary incandescent lamps stepless dimming, but also can be used as a timer wake-up device. Many people miss work because they cannot wake up in time in the morning. Even if they have a mechanical alarm clock, they cannot wake up because they sleep too deeply and the alarm time is short. According to scientific research, people's sleep time is closely related to light. In winter, the light time is short, and people sleep longer, while in summer, the opposite is true. Taking advantage of this physiological characteristic of people, this device uses light and sound to wake up at the same time, and the effect is very significant.Circuit working principle:The circuit schematic of this device is shown in Figure 153. It consists of an electronic dimming circuit and a timed sound and light wake-up circuit. When the switch S2 is set to "1", it is an electronic dimming circuit. At this time, turn on the power switch S1. After the 220V AC mains is rectified by the full-bridge DL1, it becomes a pulsating DC voltage and is applied to both ends of the unidirectional thyristor VS1. At the same time, this pulsating voltage is current-limited and reduced by resistor R1 and then supplied to the trigger circuit of VS1. Its trigger circuit consists of a single transistor VT1 (BT33), C1, RP, etc. to form a relaxation oscillator, which generates a high-frequency oscillation voltage to charge the capacitor C1. When the voltage across C1 reaches the peak voltage of the transistor VT1, VT1 changes from cutoff to conduction, and C1 continuously discharges, outputting an electric pulse to the trigger electrode of VS1. At this time, VS1 changes from blocking to conduction. The DL1 full-bridge electrical circuit is connected, and current flows through the incandescent bulb H, causing it to light up. …
