Traditional Chinese Practical High-quality hearing aids: Circuit Design, Parts List & Workshop Prototype Guide
In short: Traditional Chinese Practical High-quality hearing aids. This entry documents a circuit & prototype taken from Chinese practical-technology literature, written for small-scale makers and home producers. The text below is the full English translation of the original Chinese workshop notes, covering materials and quantities, the step-by-step sequence, and the practical cautions recorded in the source. Roughly 1374 words of English technical text, translated and preserved without editing. It is intended for experimental and reference use, not for regulated or commercial certification.
High quality hearing aids alt="173.jpg (46070 bytes)">Figure 112-1At present, some of the hearing aids on the market have the following shortcomings: (1) loud noise and rustling sound make patients upset and tired; (2) poor automatic gain control (some have no automatic gain control), the speaker cannot be heard clearly when they are a little far away, and the sound is too loud and harsh when they are close, giving the patient a headache; (3) the maximum output power is small, which can only meet the needs of patients with mild deafness. The high-quality hearing aid shown in Figure 112-1 uses one of the two op amps NE5532, the "king of op amps", as the preamplifier, which solves the noise problem. Another operational amplifier of NE5532 is used as automatic gain control. This circuit has a control range of 60dB. The power supply of NE5532 uses a high-efficiency power converter to convert the 3V power supply into ±5V. A3 and A4 use TDA2822 bi-power amplifier to form a BTL circuit to improve the power output and can suit the needs of patients with different degrees of deafness. In Figure 112-2, VT1 uses 3DG6 and VT2 uses 9013. This circuit component is easy to purchase and easy to debug, making it suitable for amateurs to make their own. It should be noted that the headphones must be of high quality to avoid distortion when the volume is high. …
